Digital Mixed Media & Wall Sculptures 1988-1990

In the mid-1980s I began exploring the deconstruction of form, and the interplay of positive and negative space, developing much of the artistic “language” that I continue to use to this day.

Layered collages became reliefs, then wall sculptures brought out into real space.

The overall compositions were enhanced with the addition of collaged photographic prints of digital imagery. Graphics were programmed on an ATARI computer in BASIC, and photographs were taken of the computer monitor screen.
